failed 24v controller

Hi guys
hoping someone can assist me. I have an older model Giant Twist Express RS1 and the controller has failed. Is there a suitable universal controller on the market? Initial enquiries suggest that the original is no longer available.Has anyone got experience of this particular problem? Any help appreciated
