I saw a fair bit of frost about and wimped out. Ran to work instead. Didn't want a repeat of January 13th when I came off, in similar conditions, and bust my arm.

Bit nippy in the shade, but nice in the sun.

It was minus 2 degrees Celsius, on my ride home this morning. I might actually not wear bib shorts tomorrow morning. The Mankini is prepped and raring to go.

I started driving to London at stupid o'clock this morning, and had to employ the Austrian yeti basher (my Aldi-bought metal handled ice scraper-cum-snow brush).

My first commute in the dark both ways since last winter was bloody cold indeed at 5:15 this morning. My Nightvision windproof gloves didn't keep my fingers warm for the first couple of miles & there was a rather sharp frost even on the coast

Freezing here this morning. Add in the thick layer of brown leaves spread over a particular section of my commute means you have to be even more alert than normal. Good thing, you don't have to worry about running the tap for too long when filling your bidon To chill the water.
