I don't like getting wet going to work or when it's cold, but a night ride in summer when you are the only one out, it's warm and all you can hear is the spray from your wheels, you can't do better, but it needs a good soak in the bath at the end.

The only thing that bugs me about rain is wearing glasses. No wipers so very quickly visiblity becomes compromised. That counts for walking, running and cycling.

However, if I am already out then I will carry on and cope with it.

I am the other way around! I hate the feeling of rain hitting my in the eyes - I can't see. I wear wrap-around sunglasses when I ride, they act like a windscreen and keep the wind and rain out of my eyes. Otherwise, I arrive home with my eyes red and streaming from being blasted by the wind.

Commuting in the wet is a necessary evil.

Riding for pleasure/leisure should be enjoyable, and I will rarely venture out if it's crap weather, which it has been here for most of the 'summer'.

Unless there is a fantastic spell of weather, and no hint of rain, I'll always take a rain jacket with me, just in case, like.
