The fake Pinarello is back on eBay under a different user name: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/pinarello-bike-NO-RESERVE-/251028667755?pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item3a72797d6b

Last ad (which sold at £205) was here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251011461287?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

He seems to be getting the message:
"
SECOND TIME I AM LISTING THE ITEM DUE TO A TIME WASTER
I DON'T KNOW IF THE BIKE IS GENUINE OR NOT
DON'T BID IF YOU DON'T WANT THE ITEM
I DON'T WANT TO PAY EBAY FEES FOR NOTHING AGAIN
i bought the bike to make a profit"
Should I bid .... ?

He actually says in his advert that he doesn't know if the bike is genuine or not. That get's round the Ebay rules.

Quite outrageous. Just hope some poor unsuspecting person isn't taken in.

You mean that isn't a real Pinarello?:laugh:

I'm just hoping nobody on here posts pictures of their new bargain Pina bike in the next few days

Even if you clearly state the item is a fake, ebay will still pull the ad.
Mate of mine tried to sell a fake designer vase that he got conned on, and clearly stated it was a fake albeit a good one, but they still cancelled his auction.

Right just been on ebay, went through the report item link. Filled the options in as best as I thought, you are unable to actually state reasons, but clicked on it and report sent.
Come on everyone else, lets deluge ebay about this and hopefully it may get them to take action!!!!!

OMG it's upto £100! Now I'm all for caveat emptor, but having reported this on Wednesday when DC re-found it I've reported this again this morning, lets see if eBay will do the right thing?

I know what you mean 172, how you can you adequately explain your reason with the limited characters they give you? It's as though eBay don't want the hassle and can just say they didn't have enough information to act on, (oops, did I just say that out loud ) ^_^

It's been on eBay/Gumtree lots of times, lots of reports. However, I think the seller bought it thinking it was a real Pinarello off the Gumtree seller

Oh, and I'm one of the bidders
