Hello, im conducting a research project all about families cycling, we are aiming to create a new cycle hub in the Cardiff area. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Q6 doesn't give "other" as an tick box answer option. Forced me to select one of the four options as none of them were relevant to me, so I haven't submitted it.

In fact, looking at it, none of them have an "other" tick box.

I had the same issue so just ticked open area as I had said not tucked away as part of my answer.

Strange set of questions, I don't really cycle with my kids much now they are all teenagers (mostly not interested in cycling cos that's what Mum does!). But when I did I would have said carrying food and drink was most important followed by tools and a first aid kit, which has been used on many a trip when they were young (wipes, plasters, occasional wound dressings and tweezers mostly). And maybe some money for an ice cream or other treat.

Me and son often ride to his footie matches/speedway and athletics races, in which case I have a golf umbrella and a folding chair strapped to my rack! (And a down jacket and merino hat now the weather is on the turn)

Like going to post a letter at the local post box, for an off road scramble in the hills, a leisurely ten miles on rural roads, or a two week tour?
The question is too vague.
I've clicked on Bag, I never go without my panniers, never know what I might find along the way.

I've tried hauling a 3 year old in an umbrella tied behind the bike but the results weren't as satisfactory as a kiddie trailer.

Thats a +1 from me on that issue and it's also a nightmare finding anywhere to park them up securely.
