i think this is part of the same road... or maybe they call all these passes the 'troll's road'

These are two different roads.
The second photo from MontyVeda is the Trolls road (Trollstigen) in Rauma region between Geiranger and Andalsnes. I have cycled down it.

I stand corrected, the pic I posted was labelled incorrectly. Still both look amazing and your a lucky bloke to ride down. Nice.

just noticed the spiral tunnel at the bottom!
that's the sort of hill I'd rather go up than down TBH... I'd have more chance of survival going up it.

The Troll Road was featured in a recent issue of Cyclist magazine as one of their "Big Rides". They attempted to do a full loop of the road, which involved getting off and climbing in places, and breaking into closed tunnels. Sounds like it was an epic adventure. And they printed some great pics in the mag too. Well worth reading.
