Despite living locally and oft-visiting, I only learned today that Fanny died in June and the Tea Rooms close for ever next weekend - 12 September.
Can't find a mention here, so I thought I'd post for anyone who fancies one last visit.
Fanny's has been a regular 11's, mid ride, or 3's stop for so many local cycling clubs groups and individuals, and the L2B, and will be sorely missed.
Fanny had been ill for a year or so (cancer) but died of a heart attack while walking around the farm on a normal working day - Good way to go for a loverley eccentric lady, whose joy and purpose was the eponymous Farm
