I dunno Van Barle scored some points for me. (Oh actually checking that was for his final position and assisting someone ??? dunno what thats about do you get an assist to an inter sprint)
my band of climbers / GC top tenners is gradually getting me to respectability...

If Gee SYates Bernal Pidders and Poole drop everyone today on a 5 man death or glory mission I could win this thing :laugh:

There are three sets of assist points. - Any rider who has a teammate finish in the top 3 on the stage, any rider who has a team mate in top 3 GC at the end of the day, and any rider whose team is in the top 3 teams on GC at the end of the day. In each case, the rider gets assist points if they start the stage, even if they abandon during it.

And each of the three sets gives 8, 4, 2 points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd respectively.

Needs to be Pidders, Carapaz and AYates for me. None of whom currently have any KOM points, only Scaroni and Pedersen of mine have any KOM points.

So far Adam Yates is my big underperformer in terms of cost per point scored. It's about time he showed up :smile:

The mighty Louis Meintjes has made it in to the top 20 on GC. And he was in the breakaway. I'm standing by for an avalanche of points when the Velogames abacus has done its work.

Breakaway watch. There was a clear breakaway at half way, but according to procyclingstats it contained 31 riders. So no breakaway points this time (probably). Not that I care as I don't have anyone in it.

Though Verona was off the back (mechanical?) and Mads P waited for him at somewhere around the halfway point, so maybe?

You have the advantage on me there, I was just looking at PCS not the telly. Maybe there will be points after all. How exciting!
