Commiserations to @Cathryn on the stage win. I'm obviously ectatic with my Lanterne Rouge stage loss today.

I’m thrilled for Mavi though! I honestly want them all to win! But the footage of her team celebrating made me all weepy!

Looking at folks' picks, I notice that Wiebes is the most popular, chosen by 7 DSs, maybe no surprise. More surprised that Vollering wasn't picked more.
Other surprises to me:
- nobody picked Rooijakkers, why?
- the peloton's (& @Dogtrousers) dancing queen, Ali J., is so popular
- Vallieres 🇨🇦 was picked by 2 other teams, she is also the most selected 4 point rider in Velogame. Why? @Cathryn and Big Frank?
- 3 teams with riders not picked by other teams also picked the 2 most chosen riders, Wiebes and Gigante.

Vollering was too expensive. I picked ELB as my GC but that was a massive mistake.

I picked Vallieres because I had 4 credits left and I think she’s an excellent rider! I thought she’d be a good use of my final credits!

And she delivered. Breakaway points. Stage KoM points, Intermediate sprint points. She even held on to shepherd Ruegg in the final and finished 19th. Unfortunately the points system is different to the TdF so she didn't get points for 19th position. The points in the TdFF go down only as far as 15th.

I had her for largely the same reason. When you're down at 6 pt riders a woman who has won Paris-Roubaix is ridiculously cheap. Also didn't think EF would be fully committing to a GC race, so thought she'd get her own chances

Glad you are happy with her break yesterday.
Disconcertingly, my expectations are higher! 29 points for a six point rider is not enough ! With her skill and experience, I hope she would infiltrate top 10 on certain stages. Let's hope so.
She is still one of my favourite riders regardless.

TBH I can't see her making top 10 unless it's from a breakaway. I think that if she's not in the break she'll be working for others in the team. And who knows, perhaps Kerbaol will make one of her crazy attacks stick and we'll get assist points from AJ.
