When I got down below 12 stone in the early 2000s, I got a colleague to take some photographs of me for a brief foray into online dating. He uploaded them to my work PC and I took one look at them and told him that there must be something wrong with the camera! For some reason, I hadn't seen the obvious when I looked in the mirror, but on the computer screen I looked gaunt, sunken-eyed and hollow-cheeked. He told me that was exactly what looked like, so I took another look in the mirror and saw the truth. (My current avatar picture was taken when I had put about 20 pounds back on so you can imagine how skinny my face looked before that!)It was more a result of my lifetimes research. I've been skinny, I've been fat. I get more cuddle offers somewhere in the "pleasntly plump" range.
When I came out of hospital last december I was the skinniest I've ever been - I'd achieved my lifetime ambition! But I felt very bony and horrible! I immediately set to work with buttery crumpets and family packs of tyrrells to put the situation right!
Yip, I've lost about 3.5 stone and could ship another stone. The moobs are almost consigned to history. When I got down below 12 stone in the early 2000s, I got a colleague to take some photographs of me for a brief foray into online dating. I am probably at a 'pleasantly plump' size now, but I would like to get slim again. I am finding that my aching joints are much less of a problem now that I have lost about 3.5 stone, but I can still feel the remaining stone of flab when I exert myself. My heart and lungs will definitely cope better.
Where on the contiuum in your profile pic? You look reight gorgous in that? When I got down below 12 stone in the early 2000s, I got a colleague to take some photographs of me for a brief foray into online dating. Cake withdrawal makes one soooooo grumpy!Me and one of my cycling colleagues often observe how rediculously fat we'd be if we didn't ride. As it is we're just pleasantly plump.
Sugar addict!Cake withdrawal makes one soooooo grumpy!
Oh!Where on the contiuum in your profile pic? You look reight gorgous in that?
I'vejust been accused of taking delight in shaming the fat kid. A man who has never met me has inferred this about me from the posting of that picture!
I have caused controversy on the slow bicycle movement by posting this photo:

Apparently it's fattist. I'm not fattist! Some of my best friends are fat. Hell, I'm even a bit plump myself!
Nope. I think that plump, curvy etc can be extremely sexy, but fat (obese) is very much not the case, especially when it's unhealthy, unfit fat.Are you self confessed fatties offended?
Oh!
Er that was the 50 year old me, at about 13 stone.
I am now 57 coming on 58 and my hair is thinning, balding, receding and greying. (Apart from that, the remaining hair is fine!) I weigh about 3 or 4 pounds more than I did then, but I should end up about 10 or 12 pounds lighter than I was in the picture, in a few months time.
This is the older, iller me taken a few months ago... (I had a very bright light shining up at me which makes me look as if I had white whiskers!)
