Well, I am not fat. Never have been. Most of my life I've been fluctuating between slim and skinny, depending on my hobby of the time and my emotional condition.
And although I am mostly attracted by slim/slender (and tall for that matter) individuals, I never thought of more cuddly people as non, or even less attractive.

Doesn't do to be too skinny, people prefer cuddling up to plump ladies.

Your not fattest, your skinnyist

Here is one reply after I said I didn't think the picture was nasty:

" I don't see anything nasty there. " The point isn't what you see, the point is that someone else who does identify as fat or as having been fat will recognize a trigger in what you posted. Obesity is a health issue. So is unhealthy body weight in the other direction. As a clyde, I could give a S*** how others see me. But the self-conscious side of being overweight ALWAYS nags. Always. Having society point it out too is really destructive if you are not strong enough to ignore the Bullocks. The strange Irony is that I'm probably stronger, faster and fitter than most people 100 lbs smaller than me. But I will always be "big" and while the euphamisms for large white men are less painful, for women, the culture in the west has become a toxic wasteland of "well why don't you do something about it? " Easier said than done when the suspicion is that every's stranger's gaze is a judging one. You don't see anything wrong with it. Many don't see anything wrong with the objectification of women's bodies. I'll stand up for their objection and for Andy Inkster's wish: the demand for better messaging is legitimate.

Can't see much in their reply I understand.
Precis:
I am like a stranded whale. I pretend not to care but really do. I do not like it when people point and stare. Being too thin is also bad, so two wrongs make a right.
I try to pretend I have the physique of a Greek god and I am in denial of being a wheezing fallen-arched swamp-monster.
I cannot be bothered doing anything about it. And it is all everyone else's fault.

(And before anyone says anything, I was once called a swamp-monster to my face, but I could be bothered to do something about it.)

"Fattist"

That term wouldn't have been dreamt of 20 year's ago.

Is alcoloicist a term?

Or druggist?

Calling someone a fast b-stard isn't pleasant, but that's a world away from the portrayal of the picture in the OP.

Thats what I thought.

To me the photo is just saying, if you drive a car you more likely to get fat. Ride a bike, reduce chance of being fat, get to work quicker. But some sensitive souls are very upset by it and I seem to be evil I think they were bullied at school.

Not for nothing is my forum name "Salad Dodger"!

No, it doesn't offend me if people regard me as fat. It's a fair criticism.

The only good news is that I am not as fat as some of the people I see waddling about,

I don't see any problem with the picture. This thread has reminded me of a joke that Jimmy Carr wosisname made; some fat person accused him of being fattist, he turned round to them and told them they were the fattest. (It was much better when he told it.)
