I find my favorite pop song changes almost weekly so can't really answer the question accurately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keith, you've answered the question fabulously!

For me as well, the whole notion of 'favourite' changes with the wind. Favourite isn't always favourite!

Your love keeps lifting me by Jackie Wilson. I start smiling as soon as that guitar starts, don't know why but it's perfect!

Oh yeah and Roger Miller's King of the Road.

I shall keep coming back to this thread as I think of a million more!!!!!!

Erasure - A Little Respect

Yep, that'd be one for me too. Erasure did some great pop tunes.

I don't go for that Aneka one though!

Edit: I recall seeing Erasure live at a gay pride concert at Victoria Park. I left a group of rugby supporting kiwi friends on the piss in Richmond to go... that got me a few sideways looks!

You can't beat Wishing (If I had a photograph of you) by Flock Of Seagulls.....except perhaps Party Fears Too by the Associates.

Oh yes, one that falls into that category I mentioned of 'had forgotten about'. It's pure pop and I love every second of it!

Pop with a little extra something for gentlemen of a certain age

I must be of that age. Even now, Clare Grogan makes me come over all misty. She was, let's not forget, the original Kachansky in Red Dwarf; the fittingly appropriate wet dream of Dave Lister.

Sadly, Grogan is NZ slang for turd, discolours things a bit but a great great pop song anyway.
