Sauce first, then pasta. But I do like the sauce to mingle with the pesto on the pasta, so I have to serve it on top, and then pick it off, as opposed to just serving it on the side.

How sad am I?

Arch, what's your thoughts on red pesto - I think it's an abomination and should be outlawed, pesto should only be green - whaddayarec?

I would love the machine Wallace has to help him get up&dressed in the mornings (as in "the wrong trousers") but until then its always left first.Then right.Many times in the left leg too and I fall over.Whilst sober. Very sad

No, I nibble or lick the chocolate off, then peel off and eat the orangy bit, then the sponge.

3bikes: I tend to get the green and allow my sauce to do the mingling, but I'm not averse to the red stuff. Getting the green gives you the option of a non-tomato dinner though.

Pesto is one of my little luxuries. Another is the big jars of Crespo black olives, which I put in almost any pasta dish. Having those, a red pepper and a courgette means I can add portions of veg to a bolognaise type sauce without trying.

I don't often eat Bounty, but you have described the only sane way to scoff a jaffa cake.

What about Maltesers? Carefully munching off the coating to leave them naked?

NO, you put them in your mouth and allow the chocolate to melt without chewing. When it's all gone you then crunch the honeycomb bit in the middle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clubs biscuits used to be double entertainment. There was nibbling the chocolate off, then there was trying to peel apart without tearing, the foil and greaseproof of the wrapper.

Now, they are bonded together, so you can't.

Or eating a packet of crisps using the "wrong" hand.
