I see your problem. I have to negotiate pretty hard to get the tree up as late as possible. Christmas eve would do it for me but we were a week or two earlier this year.

That will be bronchitis due to inhaling cold air. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory and works well on inflamed bronchia.
