... have you been out on the bike, or stuck at home doing chores?

Maybe the days are closing in & you're feeling it? Could you be getting bored with your 22 mile ride? Consider a route change.

You have done more riding than me then all weekend.

MrsT has gone on a jolly with some mates leaving me with 2 screaming touchlettes and assorted friends. Also spent the time fixing stuff and working my way down the Honeydew list.

Same here jane. I think its the start of SAD, and its a bit chillier today. Although my 20 miles did lift me out of it. Especially a short steep climb which i was still catching my breath on about 5 minutes later. Physical pain always gets rid of being fed up.

Listen to sigur ros "Hoppípolla" that always lifts me up. Then if that doesnt work Foo Fighters "Best of You"

Maybe I have "SAD" but not sure, as I do my 22 miles most days, but yes, maybe bored with my route. A bit like, ok I did it, but I don't remember half of it :boxing:

Poor you. Have a :boxing:. Sometimes we all get just a bit down, and sharing it helps.

Thank you

Next time, do it with the saddle a touch too low, and something set up to create a tick with every pedal revolution. Then you'll remember every inch....:boxing:

Have a nice cup of whatever you fancy, and a bit of whatever does it for you in the cake line. Top Gear race across London on BBC2 now, if the sight of Richard Hammond in shorts does you any good.

We all suffer from SAD imo, just some more than others. I how you feel about your ride I had the same with my ride today, the only difference is I know why it's like that for me.

I think you're right. After all, if we didn't, we wouldn't have invented Christmas or Diwali or Hannukah or Saturnalia....

However, it's under 3 months until the days start to get longer again.

Well, i've not sat on a bike all weekend as I'm stuck with a cold that won't shift. And we're flat broke because one of husband's new clients had turned out to be a slow payer, and the cash flow is getting a little problematic.

Yeah, I'm pissed off too. Sorry you are feeling pooey Jane.

Hope tomorrow is much happier for Kirstie, Jane and pretty much everyone else.
Some days are just like that, you can deal with everything one day and then the next it's all the same stuff but it's all gone crappy.

I've had a bath and am clean and fragrant and available for hugs if anyone wants one.
