Feeling distinctly Autumnal?

yeah, colder mornings & sun starts going down about 8.30pm these days instead of 9pm ish. Last winter was the first winter i commuted and i absolutely loved cycling in the freezing cold.

So long as its cold.... not wet..... just cold.

This has to be the sh.tt.st summer ever,but i say that every year. I notice they talk about "heatwaves" in days now rather than weeks.
I'm actually looking forward to autumn and winter(for work and cycling reasons)as they've become drier seasons that our crap summers.

Lake District - cold at night (5C night before last) and yesterday whilst walking up at Shap early pm it was 10C at 2pm.

We have had leaves falling off the trees in the woods adjacent to the house since the weekend.

Cold day again (we have the central heating on at the moment) and yet more drizzle.

Summer? No way.

Having taken 4hrs to get home from there it is most certainly warmer here on the coast and Summer is certainly here.

I have a theory. God installed new Microsft updates on the servers which control the seasons and it's gone wrong and is awaiting a new fix for the latest bug.
