We live in a nice area with big gardens but the estate is ex council but most are privately owed. We have 6 dogs which bark at the postman. In the back garden surrounded by a 6ft fence (due to the dogs) we have an older car which we leave unlocked because the alarm can randomly go off,
we don't worry about this as the car is blocked in by the new car, fully alarmed.
Tonight my cars headlights are on? 8pm
the car doors/glove box are shut with no sign of entry.
The car point towards the garage where my pride and joys sleep ( bikes) and the battery is still good on the car has it started normally

kids, ghost or bike thieves ?

I think you need to go outside, tooled up with a frying pan/cricket bat/plimsoll/hairbrush and shout "I know you are here, I am going to so kick your arse".

What type of switch is it? Is it a big dial you have to turn, or an electronic touch switch?
