Feeling old (part 2)

Not a grandpa.

But an old dad.Racing towards 60(feb).Youngest daughter 12 oldest 13.

So when i started the school run.Was i grandad ? No should have seen the faces. A picture. But also the kids asked our girls if we were Grannie and Grandad.Not sure how they took it.

But i will say i have had my chioce of clothing commented on by my eldest.

Not trendy enough.Whatever that is.

Other Sunday yellow cycling polo shirt and dark blue chinos.Looked like a bumble bee.

The wife even worse .She looked like Elton John.According to my eldest.Would not walk with us.

I've had that one. You can use it as leverage you know. "Tidy your room or next time we're out together I'll wear those shades you like so much"

Our kids used to hate their Dad's canary yellow coloured shirt and would refuse to leave the house with him if he was wearing it. It's now faded to a pastel coloured yellow and is slightly more acceptable in their eyes.
