That's pretty awful Kestevan - you have my sympathies and I wish your Mum (and Dad) good health and a fair and full recovery. I can understand how helpless you might be feeling - the imagination of something like that happening to a person unable to react, in the way that you might if you were about to fall...I have 'been there' and 'done all that'.
