Cycling Excusiast
So, I've been doing static trapeze now for the last three months and having a great time.
It's been teaching me some very interesting facts about myself such as physical self reliance, the form that my fear takes, trusting in myself and following through with a course of action on the equipment, plus the side of me that used to train for cycling just loves the set of muscles that are building up along my arms!!
Anyway, today whilst in a front balance where you hold yourself straight on the bar by balancing on your hips, I somehow let go and fell forward onto the mat and landed on my neck. No entirely sure what happened, maybe tiredness from the partial FNRttC, maybe just a bad call today.
Ouch - my trapezius muscle in the back (no pun intended) where my shoulder blades are, feel incredibly inflamed and sore. Thankfully no serious harm done after a check out by my teacher and sitting there on the side with my soft shell jacket as a makeshift brace!
However, afterwards I tried to cycle and pulling away at the traffic lights caused such a twinge of pain that I let out a LOUD trail of expletives!
Oh well....lets hope it heals soon, sat with an ice pack on my shoulder blades and trying not to make jerky sudden movements...what a tit!
