I can't help with Felt sizing but I owned a Giant Defy.Better colours in 2013!
However, I am not sure on sizing 100%. With Wiggle and the Felt the test ride would have sorted that. Ash Cycles return policy is a different beast, in fact it's not even legal but we won't go there!

I am 6ft & maybe 1/2" - inseam of approx 33".
I had a size large (bought 2nd hand) found it too big to ride 100% comfortably so had to get rid.
Giant use a very compact geometry & I find they come up a bit on the large size.
A M/L would have been better.
What height, leg length are you ?
Hi @MattDBOn the subject of frame size - I'm 6'6" - was going to go for 61cm Z85. Does that seem sensible?
Hi @MattDB
I have just downloaded the pdf size chart for Felt AR, F & Z series bikes, the max size 61 seems to be correct for your size.
FWIW, have you also looked at Canyon bikes ?
They do very large sizes (bigger than other manufacturers) & are much better value for money.
The only downside is that Canyon are a direct sales company in Germany & so the chances of trying one in your size are slim to none.
Canyon are though big on customer service & I am sure you would be able to discuss sizes & come to the correct one for you.
Just thought I would throw in that curve ball.
