Female Cyclists Survey

Just for the record, as you will know if you finish it, it's a

"Liv Brand Survey"

As a Liv owner (2012 Avail) I am explicitly puzzled by the Liv brand.

@livsurvey - I have been truly baffled by the Liv brand for a while. Giant won me over in my search for my first road bike because

1. They charged the same for the Defy and the equivalent Avail across the range (in 2012 many mainstream manufacturers charged extra for their women's models)
2. The Avail suited my body and other brands equalled but not surpassed this.
3. The Giant retailer was supportive (a few others matched it, but that was a factor) ... Giant Twickenham, for the record.
4. (I'm shallow) the model I was looking at was red.

But since buying it and putting 34,000km on it, I am mystified by the Liv brand. I have stood in several different Giant franchise stores and tried to understand it. I have recently been to the Liv website, and tried to understand it. I don't. I think I would have bought another bike if Giant had ghettoised their women's road bikes to Liv in 2012.

Can you explain the brand to me?
