I have had a fenwicks chain cleaning sponge for a few years now and whilst I mickle religiously ever week,Once in a while I clean the chain with foaming chain cleaner and the sponge.
It is now quite heavily soiled in the groove with what I suspect is the remnants of muck offs wet lube (messy stuff indeed)
Does anyone have any tips on cleaning it out.
