Yuck.

Train was cancelled so decided to man up and ride the 20 miles to work this morning, felt good if rather sweaty. Have my shower, realise YET AGAIN that I have forgotten to pack underpants. Bit of a pain, but no biggie - going commando for a few hours isn't that big a deal. Except I realise the jeans I've packed have developed a bit of a hole between the legs.

So I'll be sitting in sweaty lycra shorts under jeans all day. Blech.

Sorry colleagues.

My advice, buy a pack of them, on your next visit to a suitable retailer, then store them at work, just in case it happens again.

You could always use some well placed paper towels as a stop gap.

Just asked the management if there's a chest of drawers spare i can pinch.

It shall then be weekly populated with pants, trousers and tshirts so I don't have to think about it and don't have to wear a rucksack.

Haha, a commuter's worst nightmare!
I may be tempting fate, but so far my biggest mistakes have been forgetting my belt and cufflinks... I just know there's a shirt or shoe mishap waiting just around the corner though!

I leave my suits, shoes, belt and cufflinks in the office. I also have towel, shower gel and deodorant in the office.

I bring in a supply of shirts, pants and socks at the start of the week.

If I do forget anything there is an M&S 5 minutes away so I can pop to get something.

My biggest mistake was taking my towel home to wash it and forgetting to bring in a clean towel, I didnt realise until I was in the shower. I had to dry myself with paper hand towels.

I get enough flack from my colleagues for having bib shorts and baselayers hanging up to air throughout the day, let alone my full weeks wardrobe! I also get showered a good 5 minute walk away from the office at the hospital over the road, so it would mean quite a bit of messing about to go and pick up what I needed and then cycle back to the shower with it all.

I just can't wait for friday when I pick up my new bike... once ive got the rack put on I can wave farewell to sweaty backs and rucksacks forever!!

I have at least one spare of everything in my locker at the office, suit, shoes, sox, pants, towell, shaver, cufflinks etc.
I never take the last one of anything home even if it needs washing as I have always figured one day in last weeks unwashed unironed shirt is better than no shirt at all

I have a supply of work clothes and shoes plus jeans, two belts and old trainers for dress-down days in my locker at work, along with an anti-perspirant roll-on and a can of deodorant. Every week I take some home to wash, as well as bringing in the freshly-washed replacements and a week's worth of towels. Rolled up in each towel is underwear and a pair of socks.

There's been one slip-up in the 5 years I've been cycling to work - when I forgot to bring in trousers. Luckily, I had the jeans there I could wear instead.

It's probably the most organised part of my life! ;)

We’ve no lockers, but I keep 2 tubs with lids under my desk.

1 has clean stuff, workwear, towels, sprays etc plus a spare set of cycling clothes, in case it belts in down on my way in.

The others where I put the stuff I’ve worn on the way in and where I bag up any laundry to take home.

Just had a week off. Nearly had a ‘disaster’. Brought a whole new supply of clothes in on the bike. Got to work and realised I’d taken the last trousers home to wash on the last day. Could have been doing the days work in bibshorts and workboots.....

Good idea but if you forget to repalce them once worn it's deja vu again ......
