I assume that you are using the v1 Silca sealant? If I hadn't got loads of the v1 version left plus three large bottles of the Silca Replenisher, then I would have gone over the the v2 version which looks to be much more user friendly

I have a bottle of the V1 left, and some replenisher, too, which I'll continue to use on the tyres which have it in already. I - well, my partner - has a bike with the V2 in and it does quite readily go through a valve stem; easier than they suggest in their videos in fact.

Fillmore valves now fitted to my Hunt Four Season wheels, time will tell as to if they work or not.

But the valves stems that l removed were both nearly bunged up solid, although the actual valve cores were free of congeled sealant.

I'll let the tyres seat overnight before releasing the air pressure tomorrow and then see about injecting some Silca Replenisher in via the valves.

During the installation of the Fillmore valves, l did notice that the rear tyre did have some rather large balls of congeled sealant stuck inside the tyre? These were subsequently removed and 1/2oz of sealant added. Yet the front tyre was free of them??

Maybe you've had a number of rear wheel punctures, and the balls formed as part of the act of sealing them?

Just a wild guess. Probably absolute hogwash.

Yes, that was my intial thought actually, but who knows??

Well that is certainly what happens with a puncture which does not seal quickly. If you removed the balls of sealant and the film then you may notice any holes sealing again and leaking a bit of sealant, but often the balls are superfluous to maintaining airtightness, once it's actually sealed.

Fillmore valves fitted to two more pairs of wheels now.
Two pairs of wheels have Orange Seal Endurance sealant and that has been in about three months. Still in liquid form and no signs of it congealing yet
However, the third pair of wheels has v1 Silca Endurance sealant and has been in those wheels exactly 90 days last Thursday. Therefore, it was time to add 1oz of Silca Replenisher to each tyre, but l was quite disappointed to see that it had clumped quite badly internally. So l added 2oz of Replenisher in a vain attempt to try and regenerate some useful life back into the sealant. I'll give it a month and take another peak at it and see how it's fairing.
But l do have a bottle of the v2 Silca sealant on standby!
