small rant sorry,
Its too warm to wear long sleeved stuff, but its too cold to wear short sleeved. its also too wet to wear anything but the boil in the bag, i don't have overshoes and i'm now worried that my shoes which are permanently wet will rot and fall apart.
the route i usually take is now a muddy quagmire (giggedy) of pot holes and cow muck my bike is layered with hard packed poop and mud, cleaning it may be possible but i reckon i'll need to ride it through a car wash..
on the plus side, cycled from irlam to widnes the other day in the pouring rain and into a headwind all the bloody way and got there feeling like a million squids of awesome, in fact i was ready to just continue and see where i ended up
all the rainy cycles have been similar, happy warm cycling in heavy rain and not a sign of illness anywhere (touch wood) whilst laughing maniacally when the rain comes down harder trying to shatter my cycling spirit - and failing miserably.
on a related note, anybody know where to get some waterproof shorts from? i've got my cyclers on a drying rotation but i'm fast running out or cycling damp.
