With a somewhat heavy heart i have decided to sell my Santos. I no longer have the time or desire to undertake multi day, fully loaded tours, preferring instead the comfort of credit card touring as i get older.
The bike is beauty though - 26" 36sp hand built Rigida Sputnik rims with a SON hub up front, driven by a Rohloff speedhub and shod with Schwalbe Marathon Supremes. Shimano XT Deore brakes, Chris King headset, Zoom adjustable stem, Pletcher kick stand and an Axa Defender built in lock. A straight bar with Ergon grips/bar ends at present but i will also provide the original Zoom butterfly bar. The saddle is NOT included.
The frame is aluminium so no corrosion and only a few minor paint dings. It had been regularly serviced and the wheels rebuilt approx 5000 miles ago.
I am 5'8" with a 29" inside leg and the frame would suit a rider from 5'5" to 6'. I was hoping for offers above £1200.00 but will now accept just £999. The bike can be viewed/collected from north Manchester. Please PM if interested.
