I also had my first fall at the weekend, so snap!! I was on a dual carriageway and wanted to stop, I unclipped one foot and then leant the other way to put the other foot down, which was obviously still clipped in! Luckily I fell onto the verge, but I did manage to shout I'm falling" to no one whilst I was going down!

Same thing happened to me a while back and I shouted as well, but I can't repeat what I said on here

Glad you're ok. Absolutely petrified of falling off, although I know its inevitable.
