Finally got my x-rays back

Broke my collar bone last year after being car doored and here is the x-ray from it.

Has it healed ok?

That looks like it needed some metal work. I had a similar break and ended up with a rubber band instead of a collar bone.

Yea it healed fine, I was going to have a operation but it healed enough on its own before I went under the knife.

I had an identical double break when I came off in Mallorca this March. Spanish consultant said he would have plated it, NHS advised against it because the risks outweighed the benefit. I just wore a sling for two or three weeks and it healed without any mis-alignment after a couple of months. Only effect was that the increased bone mass pressed into one of the little muscles, but even that has gone now.
