Finding a business name from a license plate?

Almost got knocked off this morning by a proper a-hole of a WVM who decided he couldn't hold off 1-2 seconds for me to pass through a pinch point on an uphill stretch of the A52 and bullied through me. Memorised his license plate but failed to remember the business name on the back of the van!

Don't feel it's worth going to the police, but I would like to send his company an email.

I don't suppose there's any way of finding it out from the license plate? Google got me nothing sadly.

Unless you are prepared to report it to the police, there's little you can do I'm afraid ...... unless you see the vehicle again. Of course a helmet cam would have captured what happened and by whom.

Was the owner of the vehicle driving it? What if the owner of the company was the driver or the driver is a sole trader? You are then giving some one who is potentially unstable your name and contact details.

Just let it go.
