    BrianEvesham Mask is gone!

I keep getting a numbness in the tips of my thumbs and forefingers whilst riding, a bit like mild pins and needles.
I guess I am doing something wrong. Any hints TO reduce this please?
  2. Check your position on the bike, make sure you're not putting to much pressure down through your hands.

Padded gloves may also help

I get this after a couple of hours riding and it seems to make no difference what mitts or gloves I'm wearing. I do find that simply cycling one-handed with the free hand hanging down for a few seconds at a time brings very quick relief.

If it's a flat bar type bike, think about getting some bar ends - these increase the number of hand grips.
