Haven't started yet plan to do that tomorrow. Fortunatly only need to get something for six people as we are a small family and anyway I don't spend more than £30 on anybody so not to expensive either.

All done! For the current love of my life, I bought a pair of Tiagra shifters, new cables, chainset, bottom bracket, cassette, chain, and front and rear derailleurs. She's wearing them already .

Nephews and nieces are all of an age when they just want cash.

Just need to get something for the Christmas dinner hosts (brother and his wife).

I prefer just having a bit under the tree....

Ow! All those needles!

I'm mostly sorted out. Only close family to buy for, and two of them are nephews aged 3 and nearly 1, so it's not so much what to get, as knowing when to stop. Just a couple of things to get, I went out today to do some, but need to check some preferences before I buy. And hope that the wooden toy stall on the market is there tomorrow - this caught me out last year, he seems to vanish just before Christmas! Still I can get the things elsewhere, it's just he has the best choice.

Just need to think of a small extra for the b-i-l - I've got the diary he wanted, but it looks like a very small gift on its own.

Also got the card and stuff to make my own cards this year, so I need to get on with that...

I'm making most of mine this year. I really need to get on with that.

Me and my ex... when I was much younger and much more idealistic, we were skint one year, and made everything... included knitted stuff, embroidered stuff (she did those) and er... can't remember what I made, actually... I also wrote someone a poem as their present... we were totally chuffed with what we'd done, and put a lot of effort into it... erm... the response was underwhelming, but we thought 'sod it' and maybe one or two of them would 'get it' a year or so down the line.

Got dragged kicking and screaming to the Trafford Centre at 9pm last night, would not have minded if we went earlier but no the better half had to see the second half of Corrie first. But at least its all done now.
