Awful news. I had heard he was at least as talented as his brother.
WTF was a car doing moving on the course?

Thoughts with his family and team.

WTF was a non-race car doing moving on the course at all, never mind the other way?

Awful news. I had heard he was at least as talented as his brother.

It happens. Marshals can only cover so many junctions and drivers can appear out of private drives / elsewhere / just ignore marshals.

We had speeding motorbikes getting into the race convoy at the weekend despite the best efforts of the vehicles at the rear. Fortunately there were no collisions but it was a bit too close for comfort.

Awful news. I follow his Dad on SM and he is such a supportive and proud father … heartbreaking.
They stopped and did a local TT on the way to Belgium a year or so back. Finn smashed the course record.
RIP

Since the details are already on the cycling news forum, I can fill a little.
First off, it wasn’t a car, but a small, white Renault van. The driver, it is assumed, to avoid the rolling road closures, carried out an illegal U turn.

I sadly expect that behaviour in the UK, less so in Europe but I guess I'm wrong 😭
