Firefox Address drop down/Bookmarks

On my firefox when i type an address it shows my bookmarks and not previously typed addresses.

Anyone know how to get it to show the history and not the bookmarks, can't find anything in preferences...

using a mac btw...

Privacy settings? Is it erasing your history every time you shut it down?

Maybe preferences -Privacy tab - private data.

Now, how do I get it to stop showing bookmarks in the address bar????

I found a way!!!!!

Open the about:config page and set the value of browser.urlbar.maxRichResults as –1. Restart Firefox and your Firefox 3 address bar will behave just like that of Firefox 2.

It means it remembers nothing, but better than having loads of bookmarks appear every time!
