First 25 miler

Finally managed to get out on a proper ride on my steel frame hybrid and what a day to do it, set out just after 9am for quite country roads, dew on the grass and hardly a whisp of wind.

Managed to do 25.6 miles in about 1 hour 40 (didn't time it as such as I was out for pleasure not measure) and tootled home before the sun got hot.

Sore bum from a new saddle but had a lovely ride, that is all!

I bike hiked the route and it was 1700 ft so yeah, the odd bump

We did a 40 miler today! Set off around the same time as you and it was one of the best rides I have done. Not too hot but there was a nice breeze! Great day for cycling.
