First attempt with my new head cam

,,,,and uploading the video to YouTube!!!

The camera is an ATC 3k, its a bit bulky, imagine an extra large PritStick tube on the side of your helmet.

After a while, I didn't notice it there allthough the looks from motorists etc at the camera mounted to the side of my skid lid was amusing.

Not bad for £82 brand new in box with a free 4gb SDHC card as well.

Obviously an internet streemed clip is not as good as the hardcopy that I have on my HDD, its alot clearer than shown on youtube,,

I'll be putting up some clips of some mad decending from my ride today, where I scalped a few surprised car drivers!! These clips the camera is mounted on the bars with the frame rate set to 15fps as opposed to 30fps, means I can store 3 hours of footage, about the length of a Sunday ride for me.

Ahem, erm yes I do swear from time to time.

I bought the camera as I had a bit of trouble on a ride once, where I told a car driver to wake up, no swearing or anger at all, oddly for me!

I was greeted by the drivers mother leaning out of the car window enquiring as to how much road tax I pay, you know the original comments, and the guys door mirror hit my right elbow.

Startled I did yell "**** off!!" this time and he turned his car into me, using the car wedging me against the wall he jumped out with me totally stuck and proceeded to punch me in the face, I fended him off and managed to get off the me bike, like a true man that he was, when faced with a 6ft3inch angry cyclist who is now freed from the car trap, he turned and legged it, not before his mother asked "How many medals have you won?" etc,,,

Well lets just say that I had witnesses, but thepolice left it 3 months for me to do an ID parade using a state of the art 5 year old IBM thinkpad laptop and some super HD grainy pixelated pictures of blokes faces!!

The guy got off because none of us could remember what he looked like, or ID him properly from the shoot quality pictures!!!

I do loook out for his car when I'm in my van and I have few bits and bobs in which to cause damage to his POS Citroen!!!

don't dogcam sports give a free SD card with it? The best price for my atc2000 was Amazon at the time.

Off eBay of all places! I'm very shrewd with my bidding!!!

Some more footage, this time in 15fps at a lower resolution, allowed upto 4hours on the stick this time.

This was taken yesterday afternoon on my quick 40mile ride from Hayle-St Ives-St Just-Penzance-Hayle.
