First clipless moment

Came to a halt, had left foot out ready to stop on that. And the bike of course wobbled to my right. Crunch.

Sore hand. Sore hip. Vaguely sore shoulder.

Not sure I love clipless .

I have just started using them. 60 on the pedals and 90 on the shoes is forcing me to keep at it. Doing better, but I still look like a noob with them.

I suppose I am one of the lucky ones as I have never fallen while still clipped in, I do however, anticipate junctions etc.

Saying that, it usually takes me a couple of km to get clipped back in !!!!

Wot - ? ! That's why I went clipless in the first place; I could never get the hang of getting back into clips 'n' straps in under 100 yards - !

Double sided m520/540 pedals for the win

Only clipless fall for me was down to cleat working loose in a new shoe...couldn't get my foot out!

But I did have an embarrassing and painful crash thanks to not being able to clip in on single sided pedals, looked down at my foot and bang rode into an outwardly curved kerb type arrangement...fortunately the bollard in the middle which I hit quite hard was made of plastic and the island was covered in grass!

Whiplash, two punctured tyres and a moved shifter...

Possibly not, I've never had one and I think you'll probably find many more riders who are "moment-less", not to mention those for whom one moment was enough of a lesson. I'm on my second visit to clipless after a mega long hiatus too, but you don't forget. I'm sure you'll be fine, at least you now know to lean firmly to the unclipped side!

It does become like second nature. I fell off countless times, but kept on going.

Now I've even taught myself to clip in without looking!
