Hyper-Fast Recumbent Riding Member.

I've just done my first commute today on my newly acquired ICE Trice S. It's a 23 mile round trip to work and compared to my usual steed, the Bacchetta Strada, it's a fair bit slower uphill, and a tad slower on the flat.....and also downhill if I'm 100% honest. Mind you, I guess any other machine will seem slower after the Strada. I'd say that at the moment, it's a bit slower than I could manage on the road bike, but hopefully, when I fit thinner tyres it should take me back above road bike speed. Tomorrow I'm going to try the seat on the lowest setting.
Great fun, especially downhill and round the bends. The ride is a bit better than the Strada, but the hardshell seat is a lot sweatier than the Euromesh seat.....better for holding me in around the corners though. Overall, more fun, but more work. After the 'shine's worn off', I think I'll alternate between the bikes on a weekly rotation.
