A few weeks ago I was on here moaning about my work proposing to move my office, well they went ahead and did so, and today I managed my first cycle commute in to our new pad (we only moved in yesterday),
It was a bit of a slog compared to what I was used to, extra 5 miles and extra 400ft of climbing, not overly looking forward to the ride home as it's hillier again but at least I'll earn my tea!

Feel free to have a geek at my effort

Are you doing that daily? I'd manage once/twice a week tops!
Not at all no, looking at twice a week (my work will only provide me with a parking space 4 out of my 5 days so it has to be at least once).
Just takes so much time out of my day and I'm not in any way fit enough sadly.

Not fit enough with an average speed of 30km/h? Whatever! lol
Maybe fit was the wrong word- I don't have the stamina to get up and do it again the next day, I go too hard and burn myself out, rest day today, same again tomorrow.

not too many red lights though I'm guessing?

It's all through the countryside, I drop into town in the last mile which takes me through 2 RABs and 1 pelican crossing but that's it. I get held up more by tractors and tourists than anything else.
