You've Been Framed ............... xx(.

Once you've posted your footage on YouTube, for all the criticism you attract, you will wish you'd never taken to filming your ride .

I bought one of those from e-bay for a tenner. Couldn't get the damned thing to work:sad: Took a look at the garbled instructions, dropping this or that into the route file of something else and this numpty gave up. I took a punt and so didn't send back, threw the thing in the bin. Might buy a proper one from amazon but I'm worried it'll all still be route files etc. Have to say wasn't just the software thing, the camera lights didn't work and it wouldn't turn off.

Que someone putting me right now.... ;)

Because I am looking at one of those cameras too and would love to see the video quality when used in the same way as my intended use
I've got an ebay cheapie and the videos are fine. You just need to make sure you get a decent class 6 micro sd card for it. No decent helmet mount with it but you should be able to rig something up. The bikehut helmet light attachment for 4 quid from halfrauds might do the trick.

I seem to remember some fairly rural pictures and talk of a big dark hill. What are you going to be filming, foxes and owls? If so I look forward to it, it'll make a pleasant change.

I've put some video on, it's a seperate thread further down ;)

Sorry, no foxes or owls but I did see a lovely Sparrowhawk quite close up on the way home, it's transferring to the PC now and I'll see if it shows up.
