First commute

Just preparing to leave on my first commute to work, just over 20miles.

It’s something I have wanted to do for a while, decided to go across Ashdown forest due to lower speed limits and slightly less busy roads, a little concerned about deer after seeing so many in the car last night.

That's a decent amount of climbing for a morning commute, chapeau indeed.

My poor Merida was a nice shade of brown when I got home, she’s been treated to a very good clean, oiled all moving parts and put to bed.

That was fun, except for one numpty.

That's a lovely looking route with a good solid hill in the middle - chapeau! No wonder you took the bike though, if your car was full of deer
