First Commute

Tell me about it - commuting by bike was supposed to be the cheaper option too (not to mention the more enjoyable)

If you start in the wet and wind, it can only get better.

Wind is always a pain (law of physics), but loose your pride, drop a few gears, keep the cadence at the normal level, and you'll do OK.

Well I am getting there,

so far I have been commuting on this........Argos Special and have found it okay legs ache a bit and think my commute time can be alot better 45mins on the way to work and 60 mins on way home (had a head wind both times).

I have got this.....Merida 901 on order and cant wait to pick it up (not until May though) I have never ridden a race bike before so cant wait to see what the differance will be? I'm hoping the differeces will be massive and will vastley improve my daily commute?

Till May however the Argos Special will have to do!

Well done, this is how it all starts. First the commute, then you start looking at on-line sites and bike shops. Then the packages start arriving at your house with all sort of gear. :-)
