In fact for while, wheels skidded from under me just outside of claybrooke magna, couldn't stand up for aa bit, made it to a and e thanks to a lift home ( 14km away!) had six x-rays, back for more in two weeks. Nothing obviously broken. Guess I was lucky!

no idea - dont think so though somethiing was slippy. was wet (raining) dont think I was going particularly fast either. I go through Whetstone on my way home (from the direction of Cosby) won't be doing it for a while though!

dont usually go out in the wet but I did so last Monday and was very uneasy specially at roundabout. I kept studying the road surface for signs of diesel spillage. Be careful out there! say away from leaves on the road too, lethal! Hope you are ok though.
