first formal commute into salford today

i hope i arrive home safe and sound. it will be the first time entering the city limits during the day. i have been to cm at rush hour but everything was coming out of manchester and bury was always grid locked. nice day for it tho. wish me luck!

lol. no i meant first official commute rather than practice runs in the evenings and sundays.

back safe n sound. the a56 is interesting at rush hour. bury cycle lanes are full of cars parked up even tho there is signs saying don't use em between 3pm and 7pm they even have the no loading yellow lines. surprised the local traffic warden doesn't have a field day. they would in burnley and pendle.

I almost got taken out by WVM in a Bus Lane on the A57 this AM, seems to happen on all bus lanes at all times, there is always (at least) one that will try it on, I ride primary so they just force past, just keep going, its all good fun !

Bus lanes are beautiful for us cyclists! Yes, I also ride primary almost without exception in a bus lane. Perhaps even slightly more out at the 2/3rds position.
