First leg shave of the year...

ok so i've just done the deed this afternoon, what no one decided to mention was that having done it my legs would become the itchyest thing known to man seriously unbareable !

This reminds me of when I got my balls shaved at a very out of hand party.....

....imagine your itchyeness.

I am in an impossible situation.

I don't really care if I have my legs shaved or not - but lodes of cyclists urge me to.

But I am known as "the guy with hairy legs" (among other attributes).....so it isn't as if nobody would notice

Nah, i dont bother. The hair on my legs go blonde with the sun, so from a distance they dont look bad.
My GF also has told me not to bother shaving my legs.
So im not going to chave my legs, too much effort. I hate shaving my face, so shaving my legs would just bore me.

I dont really like the feel of hairs - its getting thru the half grown stage thats the most painfull time; pulls on trousers and the likes..

I done it this year for the first time, I initially did it to help with applying excema cream.

My sister gave me a bit of advice - cheap hair conditioner makes the razor glide a lot easier. Expensive hair conditioner would probably work just as well, but cost more.

If you read Matt Seaton's excellent little book The Escape Artist, you will understand that leg shaving is a rite of passage for roadies who are becoming serious roadies.

I always ride in shorts so pretty much smooth all year around, but only my thighs, not man enough yet to have a whole leg wax!
