I love this time of year and looking forward to my first (in a long time) winter cycling commute. The colours from how the sun strikes the buildings makes London so beautiful.

Nice ride in, actually used an Aldi (shock horror) top - their lightweight soft shell road top - flippin heck it's good - got given it as a gift in June (fathers day), and is great (not a summer top). Windproof on arms/body, arms the right length, body long enough..shocked.... ace..... and it matches the bike.......... Bright Red........

Sub zero, then it will be the Decathlon top - now that is awesome.....xx(

You lot are overdoing it a bit. Its parky, but a way to go before winter stuff comes out, especially down in the Great Wen, where it never really gets cold. Anyway, Im going to work via Tynemouth in the morning so I can get my first surfing lesson (at 0645) so it could feel a bit chilly.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Ground frost for me yesterday and still pitch black when i got to work .

Pretty crap day on the face of it

1. wvm pulls out of a slip road as i am going past .
2. still got a cold + cold weather = very sniffly ride.
3.after getting to work had to sit on a freezing warehouse on a fork truck .
4. boss goes home and locks office door with all my keys in it ,had to get his boss to climb in through roof to retrieve them , no way i am doing it health and safety etc .Eventually get home about 1 1/2 hours later than expected ofc i didnt take any money so the ride home was slow as i hadnt eaten for 5 + hours:sad:

Was looking like a big frost last night, when I got in from seeing Maximo park at 11 it was 1.4c at home with clear skies, so looked out my gloves and hat etc. However on waking up at 6 the temp had risen to 8c thank god!!

Still at least everything is ready for when the big chill comes ;)

Yeah but you're from Newcastle so you'll be commuting all year round in a vest ;)

We get more sensitive as you go further south. Winter gloves and woolly hat this morning!!!
