went out yesterday with 3 mates who have been MTB ing for few months......
was bit nervous,,havent ridden a MTB for 10 yrs, havent got a fancy bike,,didnt know how fit or fast they are....
anyhoo.........had an ace day!!!!!!!! got dirty..had couple of offs...bike had no problems (a 10yr old Giant Terrago), was as fast as them on the single tracks,,only me and one other guy attempted all the tricky downhills and I managed to complete more climbs than anyone else!! ^_^...dont think they were expecting that from the 'softie road rider'!!

the past 12 months of road riding defo paid off for strength and stamina.......
havent laughed so much in ages!!! 4 40+ yr old guys acting like schoolboys!!!! highlight of the day was comparing wheelies on the car park when one guy flipped it wheelieing through huge deep puddle!!!!!:laugh::laugh::bravo:
looking for a hardtail upgrade now!!!

Apart from a local reservoir I'm not aware of any MTB trail centres in Suffolk, I don't think we have the space! Shame.

we're pretty lucky then...seem to be a few good places in Staffordshire and I live on the edge of the Derbyshire peak district which is full of stuff to do off road....
