There are (now were) 2 people on mine.

I think they've completed their (unaware of) sentence (and also because in the mists of time I can't remember why they p*ssed me off) and are now being allowed back into my sight - probation only, mind.

If they are dicks again, then the ignore button gets hit.

@biggs682 - because one or two are just there to annoy you/me/anyone

And I've enough stress in my life atm without that. There's 2 on mine.

@DCLane i understand that enough , you got me thinking how many people have me on there blocked setting list

Is it possible to ignore oneself?
Nice one! There's four on my ignore list and one is a real Marmite. There are those on here who treat him as a 'normal' and others I've spoke to who can't abide the worthless ....person. The original one on my list though is so deeply ignorant and deliberately offensive that I regard him as the equivalent of a 'bike riders should pay road tax, have a registration plate and have insurance...and they all ride through red lights...' type. Two others are glory-hunting wanabees. If they're on ignore, they have ceased to exist.

I'm the same , although I've temporarily sin-binned a few people who've gripped my poo over the years. It helps that I don't EVER visit P&L, CAD or any of its earlier incarnations.

Before the feds lock this thread, I'd love to know who's the most ignored person on the forum.
It would've been interesting to know how I'd've treated this person not knowing their history on P&L. I couldn't separate their views on P&L from their increasing number of posts here and on commuting. Fundamentally, though, I think it was to do with lacking humour, honesty and humility. I know it's only a forum, etc, but I like it.
Mmmm interesting topic. I expected more than 5 replies though ;)

I have one on my ignore list from before I found out you could mute forums too. The politics oriented ones are on silent now. it makes my new posts list a happier place to navigate.

Given that I never saw the person on my ignore list post anything about cycling though they're doubly out of my eyeline now.

People sign up on here to voice their opinions yet choose not to listen to others opinions?!
So, you are sitting in a pub having a friendly chat with your mates and a loud drunk staggers over and starts screaming abuse in your ear ... Do you say "That's very interesting, please tell me more"?

Difficult to put them on an ignore list though.

I've put one on for being stupid, and another for showing unremitting ignorance.
People used to make this mistake in every single episode of "Kung Fu"
Ha ha - someone I worked with about 35 years ago had been inspired by 'Kung Fu' to take up martial arts - I think Aikido was his chosen discipline.

One tea break, he was telling me that he could disable me using just the thumb and index finger of his right hand. He was about 5 inches shorter than me and only about 2/3 of my weight so physically, he was no match for me. I had my doubts ...

After checking that he was not intending to gouge my eyes out, punch me in my windpipe, or do anything else that would cause permanent damage, I told him to go for it. Half a second later, I was on my knees pleading for mercy!

One lightning-fast movement, and he had my left thumb gripped and twisted in such a way that I had no choice but to go with it or I'd have it dislocated. My arm was up above my head with the thumb and hand rotated into a very painful position from which I could not extricate myself.

I took what he had to say a bit more seriously after that!

You're not Inspector Clouseau by any chance?
