Agreed, I have a few LBSs, one of which has nothing but awful reviews from just about everybody who's visited them. Another, on the other hand, have a plethora of great feedback from satisfied customers. I'm getting out there and speaking with as many as I can. This will be the first time I haven't bought something the minute I want it haha it clearly pays to do your homework!

How you fit a bike now will be different in six months and 12 months your body will change and to some degree adapt to the bike, that is not to say the bike shouldn't be set up with some degree of correctness from the off, as has been said frame size is important, everything else can be changed, and make sure you sit on the saddle and not perch as you will be constantly wasting energy, but you fine tune any bike you get over time.
