Good for you for getting out there!
In rain I find myself peering over the top of my specs, I'm short sighted and can see reasonably without them though.
I wonder if rain x would help?!

I'm so short sighted I'm not sure which I can see best with, no specs or wet specs. -5.75 one eye and -5.25 the other.

In the meantime, try the smear of washing up liquid or rainex.
Do you have a visor on your helmet? A visor really helps to keep the rain off your face.

+1 for the visor. I remember a colleague asking me and another colleague how we could see in the rain. We both answered "visor on our helmet". He usually only put the hood on his hoody up.

What about putting Mr Sheen on the lenses? I know someone who does that with motorcycle helmet visors to repel the rain.

good work, that's a proper distance and us London types forget how tricksy unmarked roads without street lighting can be after dark, and rain in the dark is always an ag, especially if you're not familiar with your route
